About Us

Advocacy For Incarcerated Families (AFIFA) is a Non- Governmental Organization (NGO) Registered under the Non-Governmental Organizations Co-ordination Act. It offers its services through three main projects namely: Wives of Incarcerated Men Advocacy (WIMA),Support for children of incarcerated Parents (SCIP) and the Comprehensive Approach to the Reintegration of Ex- Convicts (CAREX-CON). Through these three service projects, AFIFA seeks to palliate the backlash of incarceration on the family unit. It envisions resilient families that can well absorb and adapt to effects of incarceration by uncuffing the family.
